Wonder Pants in Novemeber 2005 and finished them in March of this year. It took so long for me to finally knit these (remember holiday knitting got in the way) that I had to go back and add about 3 more inches to the legs. However, he looks absolutely beautiful in these soaker pants.

These pants were knit in the round using the magic loop method for the legs. The magic loop method also seemed to cause holes all along the sides of the pants which I had to fix by tightening each and every stitch to take away the slack. It was the first time I’d ever tried magic loop so it got better as I got to the end of the pants but that’s really the main reason why it took so long to finish these. Other than that, the pattern was very simple and easy to understand. There were many many ends to weave in and I made a striping mistake at the crotch.

The yarn was my stash standby, Patons Classic Merino Wool in Natural Mix, Dusky Blue and Natural.
