Tweedy’s Mom doesn’t like pink.

These soaker shorts are crocheted in the round. This is a new style I’m exprementing with. They’re a gift for Baby Tweedy. Her mother can’t stand pink, so I’ve been knitting with other colors. One day soon though, she’s going to get some hand made pink action.

Wraparound Top

Pattern: Wraparound Top (page 14) in Crochet for Babies & Toddlers by Betty Barnden
Technique: Half Double Crochet with US D hook (I think)
Yarn: Plymouth Baby Italy (I’ll edit with the colors later)

Ladybugz Soaker

Lady Bugz Soaker

Pattern: Peppermint Soaker Pattern by Ladybugz.ca
Technique: Half Double Crocehet in the round with US H hook.
Modifications: I knit kp2 p2 ribbing with 3.75mm circulars for the waist band and made an I-cord drawstring with my Magi Cord (now called Embellish Knit).
Yarn: Patons Classic Merino Wool in Natural Mix
