I broke the rule and crocheted a soaker
This soaker is for my cousin who’ll be having her baby very soon. The pattern is the Peppermint Soaker Pattern from Ladybugz.ca. I had jury duty last month and decided that I could do it all in one day. That didn’t happen but I got 3/4 done that day. The yarn is Patons Classic Merino Wool in Natural Mix. As you may have guessed, my stash is dominated by Patons Merino Wool.
It’s almost done, so I didn’t bother adding it to the progress bar (it’s not a very complete list anyway). I just need to weave in the ends and decide if I’m going to do more decoration on the leg cuffs. I did a knit ribbing instead of the crocheted ribbing that the pattern calls for. Of course my guage was off so I made adjustments for that. It’s nice and simple and has a panel in the back to accomadate cloth diapered babies better.
